Honda CBR1000RR Motorcycle Alternator/Battery Problem?

I changed my alternator cover on my 2007 Honda CBR1000RR recently, after the change, the battery won't hold charge for more than a day, so I replaced with a new battery, and now after a day it got drained as well.

I know this sounds stupid but did you plug it back into the harness all the way.Here is a check you can do to determine if the stator is bad-unplug from the harness and check the leads of the stator plug for continuity,against each other.If the meter
