I have a 2000 dodge neon and the drive belt tensioner seems to have gone limp and doesn't have the proper pressure. I was told it is a blown spring. I was wondering if this sounds accurate and if the part I would need for the fix is the entire serpentine
yes you buy the whole part as an assembly,also replace the belt when you replace the tensioner on it,that way you got a fresh start on it,your looking at less than 100 bucks for both parts and about 30 minutes to change both of them,good luck.
