I have a 2001 MazdaMiata. I just had my brake pads changed and now they squeal when I stop. I called the service tech today who said he soaked them in anti-squeal compound before putting them on. He suggested stopping hard about 2-3 times in order
he used cheap brake pads -pure and simple -he should have turned rotors and used a good pad (ceramic) duralast (autozone) and wagner (o'reilly's) both are good pads.foreign cars are known to squeal if cheap stuff are used.
