What is the difference between ribs in supercharger pulleys?

I have 2003 Mustang GT with a vortech v-2 sq supercharger and am looking to upgrade pulleys and was wondering the difference between the ribs? Is 6, 8, or 10 rib better?
And 7 rib pulley
Belt is not slipping. Just wanting to go under 3 inches

The ribs tell you how wide the belt is, and the more ribs, the wider the belt, so the more traction you have to turn the blower. A 10 rib drive system is pretty radical, and only needed when you switch to smaller pulleys to increase the blower RPMs.
