I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia. For the last five weekends, I've done highway driving over several Continental Divide mountain passes. When I am going 60 mph and have to brake on a downhill highway, my car shakes violently. When I am back on the front range,
It sounds like the rotors (disk) are out of balance they must be turn down (like you said sanded) and put new pads that will fix it. Good luck!
