How do you clean the Air Dry Filter of a Commercial truck?

I am just wondering if you guys can give me an insight on how to clean up my Air Dry Filter unit. My truck is a Freightliner 2001 unit. The unit is locate under the truck. Usually, I know people can clean it- I have seen some guys done it, but then it
almost all of the trucks i have seen, it is a throw away filter, just like an oil filter, screw it off and replace it, they are not cheap but its not work half assing it, they are kind of important
